University Assistant (pre-doc)

A pre-doc position as university assistant is available at the Institute of Art History from January 15, 2018 (according to university contract regulations, 30 hours per week). The position is limited to four years.

Job responsibilities include: teaching on themes in the History of Islamic Art (one course per term); assisting the Professorship for History of Islamic Art in teaching and research; Involvement in the department administration as well as in teaching and research administration; We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months. Teaching can be done in German or English.
